SAP Software Solutions is seeking an Applied Data Scientist/ML Engineer to join our SAP Sales/Service Cloud ML & Analytics Dev team. In this role, you'll work closely with the SAP ICX Sales & Service Cloud development team to support our existing machine learning customers, experiment with AI/ML technologies for CRM, develop enterprise-grade data-driven applications, and put ML models into production.
What You'll Do
- Support our existing ML customer base to resolve complex production issues.
- Experiment with AI/ML technologies to support CRM-centric predictive decision-making process implementation.
- Focus on software fault-tolerance to compensate for inevitable outages in the cloud.
- Guide customers in their data driven application adoption journey.
- Learn new and existing technologies and topics to develop enterprise grade data driven applications.
- Work in a rapid prototype and agile development environment with a result driven mindset.
- Develop and put ML models in production to serve multiple enterprise customers.
- Perform product design, modelling, implementation, and testing.
What We're Looking For
- Willingness to interact with customers and passion for solving the issues they report.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, specifically Python.
- Very strong SQL knowledge.
- Very strong data exploration, cleansing, transformation, and feature engineering skills.
- Familiarity with libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, spaCy, pandasql, and catboost.
- Strong NLP technology knowledge and production-grade application implementation experience.
- Familiarity with GenAI and foundational models.
- Strong focus on delivering business value to customers.
- Familiarity with TDD and tools like GitHub and Jira.
- Familiarity with cloud native technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge in SAP technologies, particularly SAP AI Core.
- CRM functional domain knowledge.
