Responsibilities
- Design retrofit solutions for existing automated logistics systems
- Collaborate with sales and project teams during proposal development
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Produce detailed engineering documentation for retrofit projects
- Perform system assessments to identify upgrade opportunities
- Support project management throughout implementation phases
- Conduct site surveys and gather technical data for retrofit planning
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for component integration
- Develop time and cost estimates for retrofit proposals
- Create electrical and mechanical interface documentation
- Simulate system modifications to validate performance improvements
- Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning
- Provide engineering support during factory acceptance testing
- Assist in developing standardized retrofit components
