Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining software applications and components using Visual Basic and Java.
• Enhancing and supporting current payment and financial software systems.
• Engaging in all stages of software development, from analysis and design to coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Diagnosing and resolving application problems by identifying root causes and implementing timely fixes.
• Working closely with Product, QA, Support, and Engineering teams to ensure software changes meet business and customer needs.
• Producing clean, sustainable, and well-documented code that follows established development standards and best practices.
• Developing and running unit tests, aiding in integration testing, and helping with user acceptance testing when necessary.
• Taking part in code reviews to help improve code quality, system performance, and security.
• Providing support for production environments, including analyzing incidents and deploying corrective solutions.
• Interfacing with databases, external systems, and file-based integrations typical in financial and payment platforms.
• Generating technical documentation such as design records, release details, and support transition materials.
• Continuously expanding expertise in company products, payment processes, and financial industry standards to support innovation and development.
