Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive technical expertise and application support for bioreactor systems, including the Ambr product line, across all stages of the customer journey.
- Enable successful product adoption by assisting sales teams with demonstrations and supporting customers through application development, startup, training, and issue resolution.
- Partner with account management to conduct product presentations, live demos, trials, and application-focused studies for existing technologies.
- Collaborate on customer-facing activities such as URS reviews, technical evaluations, and solution positioning tailored to specific application needs.
- Work closely with Account Managers to design and execute technical initiatives that align with customer and business objectives.
- Evaluate sales opportunities from a technical standpoint to ensure proper technology fit within customer workflows.
- Proactively deliver field-based technical support, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve implementation challenges.
- Assist in new product development through participation in beta testing, customer demonstrations, and gathering application feedback.
- Support quality investigations by analyzing customer processes and troubleshooting issues related to product performance.
- Conduct customer training on emerging technologies and assist with initial operational setup.
- Contribute to regional marketing efforts through technical content and customer engagement.
- Drive sales performance by serving as the primary technical resource for a designated product portfolio within a defined territory.
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key accounts in the assigned region.
- Monitor and report on competitor product deployment and market presence to internal application and product teams.
- Interface regularly with product, project, and divisional leadership, engaging effectively across technical, sales, and customer levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, life sciences, or engineering.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, specifically in upstream bioprocess development or MSAT.
- Demonstrated expertise with bioreactor systems, including multi-parallel platforms like Ambr, stir-tank reactors, and hands-on experience in upstream applications such as scale-up and scale-down.
- Ability to lift over 35 pounds.
- Self-driven with strong collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Experience in process development or process characterization.
- Familiarity with cGMP standards and automation systems.
- Proficient in standard Windows applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and statistical analysis tools.
