Inetum is hiring an API Manager to join a team responsible for designing and implementing an API framework for multiple business areas. You will support different teams in developing external-facing APIs by providing core building blocks, documentation, best practices, and training.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement an API framework for multiple business areas
- Support teams in developing external-facing APIs
- Provide core building blocks, documentation, best practices, and training on API adoption
- Help establish a Design Authority extension in Portugal, supporting guidelines, best practices, and future recruitment
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of APIs, API Composition, BFF, API Gateway
- Ability to design Java services and components in a microservices ecosystem
- API documentation expertise with Swagger, OpenAPI (JSON/YAML)
- Ability to write and structure technical best practices
- Strong proficiency with Java 8–11
- Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot (v2+), Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate
- Strong expertise with Spring Security
- Understanding of API authentication and authorization
- Ability to build POCs and simple examples
- Awareness of API monitoring
- Capability to assist in API architecture and reusable API design
- Experience with API performance optimization
