Red Hat, LLC is looking for an Ansible Automation Architect to join its Consulting team. You will drive the adoption of Red Hat's solutions within key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. Your role will involve acting as a customer advocate to architect innovative solutions and guide their implementation.

What You'll Do

Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for teams of technical and non-technical backgrounds.
Scope delivery projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments.
Design, create, and deliver content to enable the broader organization to sell, service, and support cloud solutions at scale.
Work closely with product business units, engineering, consulting, support, and sales to ensure a quality customer experience.
Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities.
Demonstrate thought leadership by producing white papers, webinars, code contributions, and speaking at conferences.
Travel frequently (30-40 weeks per year) to work alongside leading financial services, retail, telecommunications, and institutional customers.

What We're Looking For

A background in architecting and designing complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain.
4+ years of experience in a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Architect consulting delivery role.
2+ years focused on cloud environments and their supporting infrastructures.
Strong background in consultative customer engagement with a major consulting services organization or software company.
Proven track record of working in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives.
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives.
Proven track record supporting solution sales throughout the delivery lifecycle.
The ability to self-study and quickly learn and put into practice new topics.
Passion for Open Source, software, tooling, and automation.
Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, tools, and their application within an organization.
Thorough working knowledge and hands-on experience with Ansible, plus high-level familiarity with Chef, Puppet, Salt, and others.
Intermediate level scripting (bash, python).

Nice to Have

Experience implementing a CI/CD pipeline.
Broad and deep technical experience with one or more virtualization and cloud technologies (e.g., OpenStack, RHEV, VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure).
Experience with container management and orchestration tools.
Experience across one or more vertical industry areas.
Comfortable working with highly distributed teams and interacting with Open Source communities.
Experience working in a QA role or with ticketing systems or bug tracking tools.
Familiarity with security fundamentals at the infrastructure (including cloud/hypervisor) and operating system level.
