Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring an Android Mobile Developer to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of Android mobile applications. You will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that improve customer experience. This is a remote position for candidates based in the United States.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Android application features, including product detail pages, cards, and carousels.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to implement scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code aligned with software development best practices, including modular architecture and design patterns.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Ensure Android app accessibility standards are met and maintain proper unit testing coverage.
- Mentor and support team members, sharing knowledge and guidance to enhance overall team performance.
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Android SDK, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with Android architecture, XML layouts, concurrency, dependency injection (e.g., Dagger, Hilt), and software design patterns.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and Android best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining team alignment and productivity.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience mentoring or guiding junior developers is a plus.
