AVIV Group is looking for an Android Engineer (w/m/d) to build the future of real estate technology in Europe. You will design, develop, and maintain Android applications for the Group's various brands, focusing on high quality, performance, and innovative user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop Android mobile applications for the Group's various real estate brands.
- Continuously improve the quality and performance of the applications.
- Ensure the follow-up and maintenance of the applications developed.
- Be a driving force in implementing new innovative features like virtual tour/3D, voice recognition, and geofencing.
- Monitor and prototype new technological opportunities for platforms like connected watches, TV applications, and Google Home.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in developing native applications on Android using Kotlin.
- Solid grounding in the particularities and constraints of mobile application development.
- Good knowledge of using REST services, implementing the MVI pattern, and mobile application architecture in general.
- Good knowledge of local data storage solutions.
- Comfortable working in a high-load environment serving hundreds of thousands of users per day.
- Autonomy combined with a desire to learn and share knowledge.
- Ability to work in a team, be organized, and integrate into a friendly and fun environment.

- IDE: Android Studio / Language: Kotlin
- Architecture: MVI + Clean Architecture, Reactive programming with Kotlin coroutines and Flow
- Jetpack Tools: Navigation component, Compose, ViewModel, Room, Datastore
- Design & Structure: White Label Design System, Atomic Design, Backend Driven Design, Modularization
- Dependency Injection: Dagger
- Testing: Unit testing with JUnit, automated UI testing with Jetpack Compose, source code analysis with SonarQube
- Monitoring & Analytics: Crash management with Crashlytics, tracking with GTM
- Backend & Infrastructure: Firebase for Remote Config and A/B Testing, AWS CodeArtifact as package manager, CI/CD via Cloud
- Tools: Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence), GitHub as source code controller
Team & Environment
You will join the Group Mobile Division, reporting to the division lead, and collaborate closely with a team focused on building apps for multiple European real estate brands.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in either Berlin or Hamburg.
