Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of user-facing features in a widely used mobile application, operating at scale and influencing product direction through close collaboration with engineering, product, and design teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of consumer-facing features, from architecture to implementation.
- Design and build engaging in-app experiences used by millions worldwide.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to shape product strategy and development.
- Develop and maintain shared internal frameworks and libraries.
- Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused engineering culture.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of professional experience developing native Android applications.
- Extensive hands-on experience building apps using Kotlin.
- Proven experience working with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.
- Strong background in software architecture and design patterns such as MVP, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
- Practical knowledge of Dependency Injection, including implementation with Dagger.
- Experience using Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming.
- Demonstrated ability to write and maintain unit tests.
- Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools like GitHub Copilot or similar LLM-based assistants.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different time zones.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing full-stack applications, including API design and UI prototyping.
- Understanding of Material Design principles and balancing platform standards with brand identity.
- Combination of sound technical judgment, empathy, and problem-solving ability.
