Bellwetheram-2 is looking for an Analyst, Debt to join its Debt Asset Management Team. You will help preserve and create value in a portfolio of commercial real estate debt investments, working alongside the investment team on origination, underwriting, and execution across various property types.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the proactive monitoring and management of a portfolio of debt investments across various property types.
- Review and analyze business plans, leasing activity, and monthly property operating performance.
- Perform market-level due diligence.
- Maintain detailed and complex asset-level cash flow reforecasting models.
- Organize investment level data for monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Oversee and train incoming analysts.
- Evaluate and analyze potential new debt investments, assisting with due diligence and execution.
- Perform additional ad-hoc analysis as needed.
- Assist with ongoing monitoring of investment performance, business plan execution, and sub-market fundamentals.
- Summarize and present portfolio performance to senior management.
- Perform cash flow modeling, competitive property analysis, and market research analysis.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Development and analysis of real estate-based financial models with a focus on multifamily, office, and industrial assets.
- Ability to build out a complex financial model from scratch, including waterfalls and various debt structures.
- Property underwriting and advanced financial modeling and analytics.
- Ability to understand and analyze loan documents, leases, and management agreements.
- Ability to perform responsibilities independently and proactively, solve problems, and improve processes.
- Self-directed, takes initiative and responsibility, ensures completion of tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong listening and interpersonal skills.
- Highly effective at preparing and presenting information.

Team & Environment
You will report to an Associate or Vice President as part of the Debt Asset Management Team, operating within an entrepreneurial, highly motivated, mature, and intelligent culture that values demonstrated excellence.
