About the Role

Clean Power Alliance is hiring a Analyst, Data and Systems to help implement our Data and Systems Strategic Plan. You will be instrumental in developing solution requirements, evaluating vendors, creating technical documentation, and deploying new processes and systems.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate with stakeholders to elicit and develop technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create, modify, and verify technical documentation in Confluence.
  • Collaborate across the organization to create, update, and track features and tasks in Jira.
  • Build reports and data visualizations in Tableau and other tools, serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Serve as the Tableau administrator, managing licenses and folder permissions.
  • Create and maintain a data catalog and inventory for cloud applications like Snowflake and AWS.
  • Collaborate to develop, document, and maintain data quality standards and dashboards.
  • Assist stakeholders with troubleshooting data quality issues and processes.
  • Provide records management and platform support for SharePoint and other systems.
  • Support deployment and maintenance of third-party systems, custom-built systems, and data pipelines.
  • Assist users with data access, report development, and technical issues.
  • Implement and maintain business intelligence tools and dashboards for teams across the organization.
  • Provide internal support, document issues, and install/configures hardware and software.
  • Test and evaluate new technology and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Analyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of IT.
  • Partner with the Data and Systems team on user account management and security.
  • Perform strategic analysis to identify trends and anomalies, communicating results to leadership.
  • Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights and deliver strategic recommendations.
  • Build analytical capabilities by modeling best practices and collaborative problem solving.
  • Work closely with marketing, customer programs, account services, finance, and power procurement teams.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors on delivery, payments, contracts, support, and performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor issue resolution and project alignment.
  • Perform Data & Systems budget coordination, including preparation, tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with leadership and finance to optimize resource allocation and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending on platforms like AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in Tableau, cloud computing environments (AWS/Azure), SharePoint, and SQL.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of data systems, analytics, and cloud providers, including Snowflake and AWS.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or another project management tool.

Nice to Have

  • Degree in information technology, computer science, or engineering.
  • Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, and JavaScript.
