Worldwide Flight Services is hiring an Airport Station Safety Advisor to proactively prevent workplace injuries, illnesses, and material losses. You will be responsible for promoting our Safety and Health Program by controlling hazards encountered during on-the-job duties across warehouse and ramp operations.
What You'll Do
- Distribute, read, and discuss safety bulletins, signs, and posters with station personnel.
- Perform safety audits on warehouse and ramp operations and provide feedback to management.
- Issue safety warnings and tickets as preventive measures.
- Attend safety committee meetings and provide feedback.
- Review station audits, incidents, accidents, injuries, and statistics to identify areas for improvement.
- Stimulate hourly personnel involvement in the safety culture and distribute safety awards per company guidelines.
- Assist with all incident, accident, and injury reports.
- Work with the Regional Director to ensure all reports are followed up with corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Work with the training department to identify deficiencies in safety and on-the-job (OJT) training.
- Identify deficiencies in new hire and OJT training through the audit system and establish procedures for follow-up training.
- Retrieve import and deliver export documents to and from aircraft.
What We're Looking For
- HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM.
- Ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be at least 18 years of age if the position requires driving cargo handling equipment.

- Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift.
