Lockheed Martin Canada is looking for an AI/ML Machine Learning Engineer to join our Space AI Talent Center. You will apply advanced AI/ML tools and techniques to solve some of the most complex challenges in the Space domain, working alongside a team of experts to support national security and drive innovation.
What You'll Do
- Apply advanced AI/ML tools and techniques to solve complex Space domain challenges.
- Collaborate with experts in research, data science, software development, physics, and mathematics to develop solutions for critical problems.
- Work as a key member of a cross-functional team to drive innovation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Advanced experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, or Image Processing.
- Experience with modern software development tools and practices.
- TS/SCI clearance required to start.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in a STEM discipline.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C++, C#, or MATLAB.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with RF, SAR or EO image processing algorithms/techniques.
- Experience with AWS or another cloud computing platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.

- Compensation: $89,300 - $157,435 (for Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC). $102,700 - $177,905 (for most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York).
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Herndon, VA; King of Prussia, PA; or Littleton, CO.
