About the Role
You will design and build scalable, production-ready backend and cloud systems that integrate modern AI capabilities through third-party APIs, focusing on agentic AI, orchestration workflows, and cloud-native architectures to bring AI solutions into production at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AI and large language model services for internal and potential customer-facing applications using software engineering best practices
- Create robust architectures for deploying and managing scalable AI-integrated solutions on AWS
- Enhance existing Terraform-managed infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support AI system deployment
- Implement testing and monitoring frameworks to ensure AI systems perform accurately, reliably, and efficiently
- Use modern agentic workflow orchestration tools such as LangGraph to develop intelligent, automated processes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features seamlessly into product offerings
- Keep current with advancements in AI integration, cloud infrastructure, and scalable backend technologies

Role Overview
As an AI Software Engineer in our Data Science team, you will help design and deliver scalable backend and cloud systems that power our AI-driven products and services. You will design and build scalable, production-grade systems and APIs, with a focus on integrating modern AI capabilities (via APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) into real-world applications. We are not training models from scratch — instead, you will work on agentic AI systems, orchestration workflows, and cloud-native architectures that bring AI into production at scale. In this newly formed work stream, you will have the unique opportunity to lay the foundations and set the right technical direction.
