About this opportunity We are seeking a proficient AI / ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on position, you'll architect and sustain AI-driven pipelines on GCP, developing scalable solutions for image analysis and metadata generation. You'll collaborate closely with the Lead AI/Data Architect to implement system components, integrate APIs, and deliver enterprise-ready AI solutions at scale. What's in it for you: • Construct robust, production-level AI systems for practical applications • Enhance expertise in contemporary AI technologies like Google Gemini 2.5 Pro and Vertex AI • Engage with an agile, innovative team to deliver transformative solutions Are you the ideal candidate? • 2+ years of practical experience with Python and cloud-based ML/data infrastructure • Comprehensive proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Capacity to develop scalable, production-ready pipeline architectures • Comprehensive understanding of image processing, embeddings, and metadata systems • Familiarity with Docker, Git, and continuous integration/deployment workflows • Exceptional communication abilities and adaptability to U.S. time zone requirements Preferred qualifications: • Experience with Vertex AI and Google Gemini APIs, particularly Gemini 2.5 Pro • Background in Media & Entertainment workflows, media ingestion, and tagging standards Key responsibilities and your contribution In this role, you'll construct and maintain AI and data pipelines on GCP, implementing scalable solutions for image analysis and metadata generation. • Design image ingestion, preprocessing, and metadata extraction pipelines • Integrate Gemini 2.5 Pro APIs for comprehensive tagging and structured outputs • Develop efficient, scalable Python code for machine learning and data workflows • Establish and maintain services on GCP (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Vertex AI) • Automate cataloging processes for extensive image datasets • Optimize pipeline efficiency, performance, and throughput • Implement comprehensive testing, logging, monitoring, and continuous integration/deployment practices • Deliver iterative, production-ready outputs through weekly sprint cycles
