Bit by Bit Inc is hiring an AI Developer (Full-Stack .NET Core) to architect and build the next generation of our clinical referral intake engine. You will work at the intersection of AI, .NET Core, document parsing, and workflow automation to power end-to-end integrations with hospital systems.
What You'll Do
- Build and enhance .NET Core (C#) services powering our platform
- Architect and implement AI workflows using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, embeddings, and prompt engineering
- Develop RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
- Work with document ingestion pipelines, OCR, and AI extraction models
- Perform screen scraping and automation for referral portals using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer
- Map AI-extracted data into structured SQL datasets
- Build and maintain UI components with React, Angular, or similar frameworks
- Collaborate with U.S. developers, product team, and project manager
- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and release planning
- Ensure security and compliance for PHI following HIPAA-like best practices
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of strong experience with .NET Core / C#
- Full-stack development experience (backend + JavaScript front-end)
- Strong SQL skills, including queries, functions, and performance tuning
- Experience calling OpenAI APIs or similar LLM services
- Ability to build automated data extraction tools (screen scraping)
- Experience with a major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in English
- A reliable home office setup with stable internet
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, embeddings, or vector databases
- Experience integrating with healthcare systems (FHIR, HL7, EPIC)
- Experience with OCR tools like Azure Form Recognizer or Tesseract
- Understanding of HIPAA-style data protection
- Startup or SaaS background
- Experience building AI agents or multi-step orchestration workflows

Benefits & Compensation
- Monthly salary range: ₱150,000 – ₱220,000 (approximately USD $2,600 – $3,800)
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position open exclusively to candidates based in the Philippines or Indonesia.
