GFT Technologies SE is hiring an AI Data Engineer at a Pleno/Sênior level to serve as a technical reference in building agentic solutions that unite data engineering on Azure with Copilot Studio. You will be instrumental in creating reliable data foundations and intelligent agents that interact with corporate systems.
What You'll Do
- Act as the technical lead in constructing agentic solutions that integrate Azure data engineering and Copilot Studio.
- Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and/or Databricks to prepare reliable data bases for consumption by AI agents.
- Build and evolve agents within Copilot Studio, including topics, actions, flows, connectors, and integrations with corporate systems.
- Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns: curating data sources, chunking, embeddings, search strategies, and governing the content used by agents.
- Integrate agents with corporate data via REST APIs, connectors, and analytical layers (Lakehouse, SQL, semantic models), ensuring answer traceability.
- Define and oversee observability standards: logs, telemetry, usage metrics, response quality, and end-to-end failure monitoring.
- Work with security and governance: access control, protection of sensitive data, auditing, and compliance with LGPD.
- Support the team in design reviews, troubleshooting of pipelines and agents, performance optimization, and resolution of complex incidents.
What We're Looking For
- Solid background and experience as a Data Engineer on Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio (creation of copilots, topics, actions, connectors, publishing, and environment management).
- Experience building pipelines with Azure Data Factory and/or Databricks.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and automation.
- Practical knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vectorization, and information retrieval strategies.
- Experience with integrations via REST APIs and corporate connectors.
- Solid knowledge of security (RBAC, Key Vault, identities) and auditing/compliance practices.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD for version control and promotion across environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Semantic Model).
- Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry and/or Azure OpenAI for model orchestration and evaluation.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse) and advanced connectors.
- Implementation of guardrails: content filters, policies, grounding, fallback, and prompt security.
- Observability and evaluation of agents: testing, quality metrics, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.
- Relevant Azure certifications (DP-203, AI-102, PL-600/PL-700) and/or Microsoft Applied Skills.
