Dell Technologies is hiring an Advisor, Engineering Project Management (I7) to manage the delivery of Notebook products. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, leveraging your deep technical understanding and project management expertise.
What You'll Do
- Manage notebook development projects involving cross-functional teams.
- Oversee project plans, direct schedules, and monitor budgets.
- Interface with internal customers and department personnel from project initiation through delivery.
- Organize project activities and interdepartmental meetings to ensure clear communication.
- Conduct and participate in BOM audits to ensure accuracy and appropriate structure for all regions.
- Perform periodic project reviews to track progress and lead post-project reviews.
What We're Looking For
- At least 6+ years of small device development project experience.
- Good technical understanding of assigned products.
- Experience working directly with suppliers.
- Demonstrated attentiveness to quality and productivity.
- Strong knowledge of the Engineering Development Process and experience managing daily workflow.
- Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.
- Priority setting skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written communications in English globally.
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to present clear and concise information to team, internal, and external customers.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor Degree.
