Sparklight is looking for an Advertising Account Executive I to partner with local, regional, and national companies. You'll use a vast range of digital products to help move their business forward. This role focuses on proactive outreach and building lasting relationships.
What You'll Do
- Partner with companies to move their business forward using digital products.
- Conduct proactive outreach through cold calling to engage potential clients and grow the customer base.
- Identify new business opportunities and meet the unique needs of each client.
- Leverage sales experience to build lasting relationships.
- Flex a creative mindset and sales skills to help clients develop strategies for their business goals.
What We're Looking For
- An Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or university; and/or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination.
- A valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and reliable transportation for local travel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven sales experience, with a track record of success in cold calling and new business acquisition.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with potential clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment, be self-disciplined, and be a self-starter.
- Ability to think outside the box on how to grow business.
Nice to Have
- General knowledge of presentation software and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of digital advertising products.
- More than 2 years of outside sales experience.
- Advertising experience is a plus.
- Experience with customer-facing roles and community involvement or connections in the business community.
- Knowledge of the sales process, goals, or business principles.
- Experience maintaining a client base or returning clients.
