Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher company, is hiring an Advanced Customer Technical Support Specialist to provide expert technical support for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics systems. In this remote role, you will serve as a key resource for customers, independently resolving complex technical issues across hardware, software, and assays.
What You'll Do
- Provide advanced technical support to customers via phone, email, and video conference.
- Resolve complex and routine issues related to hardware, software, assays, and training.
- Diagnose problems to distinguish between hardware, reagent, and software issues, resolving them directly or dispatching the appropriate resource.
- Mentor and provide peer assistance for routine troubleshooting processes.
What We're Looking For
- An associate, vocational, or equivalent degree in biology, clinical lab science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or chemistry.
- 7+ years of lab or field experience.
- Ability to handle the most complex technical issues with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to work weekends in a 24/7 support environment.
Nice to Have
- Previous troubleshooting experience on electromechanical instrumentation.
- Experience in a medical technology call center or a medical laboratory.
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Urinalysis/Hematology CTSO team, reporting to the Hematology Supervisor.
