Baptistfirst seeks an Advanced Clinical Educator to join our Critical Care team at Baptist Medical Center East and Prattville Baptist. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing nursing staff throughout Baptist Health by serving as an Educator, Consultant, Facilitator, and Leader.
What You'll Do
- Develop staff throughout Baptist Health by providing expertise as an Educator, Consultant, Facilitator, Change Agent, Leader, and Researcher.
- Support the development of new and current staff, fostering empowerment and the development of knowledge through evidence-based practice and adult learning principles.
- Utilize the Benner Model to move staff through the continuum from novice to expert.
- Facilitate the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency, continuing education, and leadership development.
- Serve as a role model of professional behavior.
What We're Looking For
- MSN required.
- Demonstrated evidence of experience in teaching/education of at least 2 years in a clinical or academic setting.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required in Critical Care.
- Active RN license required.
- BLS certification required.
Work Mode
This position is onsite at Baptist Medical Center East.
