Penn State was looking for an Adjunct Lecturer, Part-Time

Pennsylvania State University, specifically the Department of History within The College of the Liberal Arts, is seeking a part-time Adjunct Lecturer for the Fall 2025 semester. You will teach a focused load of undergraduate courses, potentially including upper-level and graduate courses, contributing to the academic mission of a department dedicated to equity, respect, and belonging.

What You'll Do

  • Teach one to two courses per semester within the Department of History

What We're Looking For

  • A Master’s degree in History or a closely related field
  • Must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or be prepared to describe one or more ways you would envision doing so

Nice to Have

  • A Ph.D. in History or the discipline, for potential assignment to teach upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses
