Seeking analytics professionals to serve as a part-time Associate for a graduate-level course on Analytics for Cybersecurity Management. An Associate is a faculty line junior to a Lecturer, that provides subject matter expertise and supports the instructional process for a course section. Students will explore key frameworks, advanced tools, and real-world case studies, gaining insight into how analytics underpins effective threat intelligence, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
Through hands-on exercises, interactive assignments, and a culminating project focused on automating vulnerability analysis, learners will develop practical skills in data-driven security. They will practice essential tasks—such as parsing logs, classifying vulnerabilities, creating visual dashboards, and applying AI-driven anomaly detection—while also examining ethical, legal, and regulatory considerations in cybersecurity. Job Description: Reporting to the Assistant Director for Pre-College, the incumbent performs a variety of tasks to support the Pre-College Programs at the School of Professional Studies. The Senior Online Program Facilitator serves as the primary resource to Instructors and Online Program Facilitators for day-to-day administrative, online classroom technology, and social media tasks.RESPONSIBILITIES
PROGRAM FACILITATORServe as the primary resource to 30+ Online Program Facilitators:* Lead in-person and remote onboarding and training sessions
* Troubleshoot online classroom technology issues
* Support social media content administration
* Attend training sessions and modules to learn the intricacies of online curricular technology in order to serve as a resource to the general program and instructional staff. Technologies include but are not limited to, CourseWorks and Zoom
* Lead the proofreading of student evaluation letters written by instructors
* Manage and organize proofreading documents in Google Drive folders and update the supervisor with daily progress reports
* Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns
Performs other duties and projects as assigned or requested
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications* High School Diploma or High School equivalency diploma
* One semester of experience with Columbia University’s Pre-College Programs
* Must have completed at least one academic year of study at an American college or university by the start of the internship
Preferred Qualifications* Proven ability to effectively work and lead within a collaborative team setting
* Ability to work independently on multiple work streams
* Ability to handle confidential information in a mature, professional manner
* Passion for social media content creation and management
