Johnson County Community College (JCCC) is hiring an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Physics to join its Physics Department. This part-time role will instruct students in both lecture and laboratory components for a section of College Physics.
What You'll Do
- Instruct students in lecture and lab settings for Physics courses
- Teach a specific section of College Physics in the evenings, Monday through Thursday
- Deliver face-to-face instruction for the Summer 2026 term
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Physics
- Computer literacy, including the ability to communicate electronically, develop teaching materials, and enter grades
- Familiarity with the use of appropriate computer software and related lab equipment
- Demonstrated fluency in written and oral communications
- One year of college-level teaching experience in Physics courses
Nice to Have
- Doctorate degree in Physics
