Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize monthly financial statements
- Perform account reconciliations on a regular basis
- Support the annual audit process with accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting standards
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
- Track and report on operational expenses
- Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
- Coordinate with external auditors during review periods
- Review journal entries for correctness and completeness
- Assist in tax computation and filing preparation
- Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Prepare supporting schedules for financial disclosures
- Respond to financial queries from management
- Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports
- Support process improvements in accounting workflows
- Collaborate with other departments for financial data
- Maintain documentation for accounting policies
- Assist in system upgrades and data migration projects
- Track compliance with company financial policies
- Provide input on accounting treatment for new transactions
- Prepare cash flow analysis reports
