Second Harvest is Canada's largest food rescue organization. Our vision is: No Waste. No Hunger. Our mission is to keep food where it belongs: on plates and out of landfills.
We rescue surplus food from businesses and redirect it to community organizations across Canada that support people facing food insecurity. We also work to address the root causes of food waste through research, education, and advocacy.
Through our Food Rescue App, we connect donors with surplus food to local organizations in need, helping to reduce waste and fight hunger simultaneously.
