Educate! prepares youth in Africa with the skills to succeed in today’s economy. We tackle youth unemployment by partnering with schools and governments to reform what schools teach and how they teach it, so that students in Africa have the skills to start businesses, get jobs, and drive development in their communities.
We deliver practical, employment-focused education through two core programs: Livelihood Bootcamps for young women unable to access secondary school, and an employment-focused subject integrated into national secondary school systems. Our approach emphasizes sustainability and government-led, system-level change to ensure long-term impact.
We measure our impact through rigorous external evaluations and rapid assessment methods, focusing on outcomes like increased income, business ownership, and gender equity for young people across Africa.
