Founded in 2021 by Jerome Bajou and Luca Lattanzio, CaptainBook was created to help tour and activity operators reduce commission costs and simplify operations. The platform connects modern experiences with resellers like hotels and travel agencies, streamlining booking management for businesses of all sizes.
The company started when Jerome, a tour operator, built a cloud-based app to solve the inefficiencies he faced in managing bookings manually. Together with Luca, who experienced similar challenges in reselling tours, they launched CaptainBook to empower experience-based businesses worldwide.
