Bit by Bit Inc is hiring an AI Developer to work at the intersection of AI, .NET Core, and document processing. You will architect and build the next generation of our intake engine and new AI platform, powering automation for clinical referrals and hospital system integrations.
What You'll Do
- Build and enhance .NET Core (C#) services for our applications
- Architect and implement AI workflows using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, embeddings, and prompt engineering
- Develop RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
- Work with document ingestion pipelines, OCR, and AI extraction models
- Integrate AI systems with our MSP platforms
- Perform screen scraping and automation using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer
- Map AI-extracted data into structured SQL datasets
- Build and maintain UI components with React, Angular, or similar frameworks
- Collaborate with U.S. developers, product teams, and project managers
- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and release planning
- Ensure security and compliance for PHI with HIPAA-like best practices
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of strong .NET Core / C# experience
- PHP language experience
- Full-stack development experience (backend + JavaScript front-end)
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and strong SQL skills
- Experience calling OpenAI APIs or similar LLM services
- Ability to build automated data extraction tools (screen scraping)
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in English
- Reliable home office setup with stable internet
- Experience with Entity Framework
- Experience with LLBlgen
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, embeddings, or vector databases
- Experience integrating with healthcare systems (FHIR, HL7, EPIC)
- Experience with OCR technologies like Azure Form Recognizer or Tesseract
- Understanding of HIPAA-style data protection
- Startup or SaaS background
- Experience building AI agents or multi-step orchestration workflows

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: ₱150,000 – ₱220,000 (USD $2,600 – $3,800)
Work Mode
This is a remote position open to candidates located in the Philippines or Indonesia.
