Responsibilities
- Act as the primary strategic leader for Workday FinTech, collaborating with Finance and Technology teams to align system capabilities with evolving financial management objectives
- Collaborate with finance executives to convert operational, reporting, and compliance needs into scalable and sustainable Workday solutions
- Lead governance practices, strategic planning, and resource alignment for Workday with a focus on financial functionality and measurable business impact
- Manage system updates, feature rollouts, module deployments, and change initiatives, ensuring preparedness across finance, accounting, procurement, and reporting units
- Assess and propose system improvements in Workday Financials—including Accounting, Financial Reporting, Projects, Procurement, and Expenses—to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and audit readiness
- Supervise and develop Workday support personnel, balancing ongoing operational support with long-term strategic projects
- Design, test, and implement Workday features—particularly in Core Financials—while ensuring integrations and data pipelines support downstream financial processes
- Keep detailed records of financial workflows, security configurations, integration touchpoints, and data governance policies
- Promote ongoing system optimization and user engagement across finance teams through training, documentation, and standardized best practices
