  • Generate Production Action Requests in EWITS when necessary to support design updates.
  • Ensure all Production Action Requests include complete and accurate details for end users and downstream processes.
  • Analyze and correct inconsistencies between wiring diagrams and functional schematics to maintain design integrity and system functionality.
  • Identify and address test failures linked to wire routing, signal quality, or electrical connections, such as those caused by incorrect bend radii or coaxial cable placement.
  • Conduct on-aircraft inspections to troubleshoot wiring issues, including problems with connector pin configurations, harness integrity, continuity errors, and configuration mismatches.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to verify and apply corrective measures for identified wiring defects.

  • Create Production Action Requests (PARs) in EWITS as required
  • Ensure that PARs provide all pertinent information for the customer and follow-on commodities
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in wiring diagrams and between wiring diagrams and functional schematics to ensure design accuracy and functional alignment of the system
  • Diagnose and resolve test failures related to wire routing, signal integrity, or electrical connectivity (e.g., how improper bend radius or incorrect coax routing can cause signal failures)
  • Perform on-aircraft investigations to support troubleshooting of wiring discrepancies, including connector pinouts, harness damage, continuity faults, and configuration mismatches
  • Coordinate with design engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to validate and implement corrective actions for discovered wiring issues

Benefits

Boeing provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
