Glanbia Nutritionals Inc. is looking for a Whey Separator Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for removing cream from whey and coordinating between the whey and cheese production plants. You will operate and maintain key systems to ensure product quality and compliance while supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Maintain open communication between cheese and whey plants.
- Remove cream from whey and operate separators, clarifiers, and related systems.
- Pull and test samples using FT-120 and make necessary adjustments.
- Record all sample results to ensure whey and cream fat comply with HTST requirements.
- Maintain product loss sheets to track waste and report process loss to your supervisor.
- Oversee CIP for assigned machinery.
- Maintain cream HTST charts and keep a clean work environment.
- Attend required training and complete all safety activities, plant meetings, and job-specific SOPs.
- Keep records in accordance with GMP and all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilize GPS processes, drive zero losses, and uphold core company values.
- Comply with all occupational safety and food safety regulations (FSMA, SQF, FDA, PMO).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
