This research-focused position requires strategic thinking, technical comprehension, and strong business understanding. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive research on AI and machine learning capabilities supporting Sales and Marketing objectives - Analyze current organizational processes and identify high-ROI AI intervention opportunities - Evaluate automation projects based on feasibility, cost, impact, and data preparedness - Collaborate with developers and system owners to translate research findings into actionable enhancements - Develop research briefs and recommendation documents for leadership - Design frameworks for automated lead scoring, customer segmentation, and predictive insights - Assess vendor AI tools and platforms - Create strategic AI adoption roadmaps aligned with business priorities - Monitor industry trends and technological advancements - Perform ethical and risk assessments for proposed AI solutions Qualifications: Required: - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Math, or related field - 5+ years experience in AI research, marketing analytics, or sales operations research Essential Skills: - Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities - Familiarity with AI technologies including LLMs and GenAI platforms - Proficiency in evaluating AI workflows and APIs - Comprehensive understanding of Sales and Marketing processes - Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities Preferred: - Sales/Marketing environment experience - Adobe/Salesforce platform expertise - Cost optimization program involvement - Business case development skills - Understanding of data governance and responsible AI practices Compensation Range: $106,000 - $141,300 Western Digital champions diversity, inclusivity, and equal opportunity employment, committed to creating an environment where individual potential can flourish.
