Iglu Network Ltd was looking for a Web Designer-Remote work

Responsibilities:

  • Design concepts and prototypes for new webpages and app screens using Figma

  • Build and maintain high-quality, responsive websites and web applications using Elementor or other leading page builders on WordPress.

  • Implement finished designs (from Figma or similar tools) as interactive, pixel-perfect web pages.

  • Utilize component libraries such as MUI (Material UI) or similar to ensure consistency and efficiency in design implementation.

  • Create and manage reusable templates, sections, and style guides for scalability and brand consistency.

  • Optimize media, layouts, and assets for fast loading and smooth performance across all devices.

  • Implement global site styles (color palettes, typography, etc.) and ensure design system adherence.

  • Develop and customize forms, navigation, and interactive elements using visual builders and available widgets.

  • Ensure excellent user experience (UX) and visual fidelity across desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers.

  • Collaborate with team members via Slack, Zoom, and in-person meetings to provide updates and gather feedback.

  • Stay current with trends in web design, UX best practices, and new features in leading page builders.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in web design, web development, or a similar role focused on building websites and web applications.

  • Proficiency with WordPress and leading page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or similar tools.

  • Experience using design systems and component libraries such as MUI (Material UI) or similar.

  • Strong skills in HTML and CSS for fine-tuning layouts and styles within visual builders.

  • Ability to debug issues on your own as well as solve complex design challenges using web inspector.

  • Experience translating designs from Figma (or similar) into live web pages.

  • Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards.

  • Excellent eye for detail and ability to deliver pixel-perfect implementations.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

  • Self-motivated and organized, with a commitment to high-quality work and continuous improvement.

  • Able to work from 09:00 to 17:00, GMT+7 (Thailand time zone)

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with basic JavaScript for enhancing interactivity within page builders.

  • Experience optimizing websites for SEO and performance.

  • Portfolio demonstrating a range of web projects built with page builders and/or component libraries.

  • Experience building UI design systems and color scales.
