Responsibilities
- Provides technical leadership to engineering teams working on water and wastewater systems such as pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, and treatment facilities.
- Identifies potential new projects and actively engages in client presentations and outreach to promote service offerings.
- Evaluates project opportunities, selects consultants, and contributes to qualification statements highlighting relevant experience.
- Supports contract discussions with clients and subcontractors, and prepares detailed service agreements for management review.
- Ensures project teams and external partners adhere to contractual obligations and project requirements.
- Develops and communicates project plans including scope, timeline, budget, and quality goals, and oversees execution to meet targets.
- May oversee engineers, junior project managers, and design personnel, including assigning work and managing staffing needs.
- Tracks and communicates the financial health of projects to technical leadership.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
