About the Role

The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and dispatching goods while ensuring accuracy and safety across all tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against delivery documents
  • Inspect delivered items for damage or discrepancies
  • Unload freight using appropriate lifting and handling methods
  • Organize and store inventory according to established guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and movements
  • Prepare orders for shipment following packing standards
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
  • Conduct routine equipment checks and report malfunctions
  • Perform regular warehouse cleaning and safety inspections
  • Label and barcode inventory items as required
  • Support cycle counts and full inventory audits
  • Stage outbound shipments for timely dispatch
  • Follow safety protocols to minimize workplace hazards
  • Assist in loading delivery vehicles
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
  • Respond to internal requests for materials or supplies
  • Handle hazardous materials in compliance with regulations
  • Use warehouse management systems to track inventory
  • Report damaged or expired stock for disposal
  • Maintain loading dock organization and cleanliness
  • Adhere to company policies on security and access control
  • Support process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Comply with OSHA and other regulatory standards
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by supervisors
  • Ensure all work is completed with attention to detail

Compensation

Competitive hourly wage based on experience

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of heavy items
  • Ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts
  • Comfort working in cold or hot storage environments

Work Schedule

  • Full-time hours with possible weekend shifts
  • Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, or nights
  • Overtime required during peak periods
