What You'll Do
Shape the future of Commercial and E&S/Specialty operations by leading the design and execution of transformative business capabilities. Define long-term roadmaps that align with enterprise strategy, market dynamics, and customer needs, ensuring technology and process innovation deliver measurable impact.
Direct the development of scalable, user-centered digital solutions that modernize how products are sold and serviced. Guide the integration of emerging technologies—including AI, automation, and advanced data analytics—into core workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience for agents, customers, and internal teams.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to map and refine end-to-end value streams such as quote-to-bind, claims, and policy servicing. Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, ensuring architectural consistency and operational agility across platforms and business units.
Champion a digital-first approach across the organization, promoting modern UI/UX principles, agile delivery models, and lean execution. Advise senior stakeholders on transformation opportunities, capability gaps, and architectural implications, ensuring alignment between business and technology strategies.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
- Bring 10+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise transformation, or strategic planning within insurance or financial services
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Commercial and E&S/Specialty insurance markets
- Have led large-scale implementation of business capabilities and operating models
- Possess familiarity with core insurance systems and digital innovation frameworks
- Apply structured business architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or BIZBOK
- Navigate complex, matrixed organizations with strong facilitation and communication skills
- Experience in agile, LEAN, or program management disciplines is essential
