Our Home is hiring a strategic VP of People Operations - Manufacturing to lead our People initiatives on the manufacturing side. You will align organizational objectives with manufacturing people strategies, foster a culture of engagement and continuous improvement, and partner with the executive team to drive transformation.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute an overarching manufacturing People Operations strategy that aligns with business objectives and values and enhances manufacturing capabilities.
- Lead the manufacturing People team in driving initiatives related to talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, and workforce planning.
- Foster a high-performance culture centered on inclusivity, innovation, and accountability across all manufacturing facilities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement effective solutions for organizational challenges and workforce needs.
- Oversee compliance with labor laws and regulations within the manufacturing sector and ensure effective risk management.
- Develop and manage metrics and reporting to track the effectiveness of People initiatives and inform decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives on all People-related matters, including performance management, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Lead change management efforts to support operational improvements and enhance employee experience.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive People leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrable experience in strategic planning and execution, with a strong understanding of workforce dynamics in manufacturing.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and regulations related to the manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization and build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with change management and organizational development initiatives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel up 50% to support facilities and operations across 10 locations nationally.
