Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is hiring a VMware ICT Engineer, Nutanix to be trained (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities Administration and operation of VMware vSphere environment (ESXi, vCenter) Monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of virtual infrastructure Management of virtual machines lifecycle (provisioning, maintenance, decommissioning) Backup and recovery support (e.g. Veeam or similar tools) Patch management and upgrades of VMware components Incident and problem resolution (2nd / 3rd level support) Documentation of procedures and configurations Collaboration with infrastructure, network, and security teams Support of projects related to virtualization and datacenter technologies Nutanix knowledge is not required at the start; onboarding and training will be provided, after training responsibilities will be: Implementation, administration, and migration of Nutanix cloud infrastructures (AOS, AHV virtualization, AOS storage, virtual networking, NDK, etc.) Implementation and administration of Nutanix Prism Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, Ansible, or Terraform Leading the automation and standardization of operational workflows using appropriate scripts Planning, design, and execution of commissioning and operation of complex systems Handling and execution of complex tasks and assignments Participation in the preparation of decision papers and technical concepts Installation and maintenance of tools Development and planning of service concepts Management and coordination of order processing Ensuring agreed service levels Creation and maintenance of documentation
