About the Role
This role involves delivering veterinary medical guidance to pet owners through virtual consultations, assessing patient histories, and making evidence-based recommendations while adhering to state-specific regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations with pet owners to evaluate animal health conditions
- Review medical records and diagnostic results to inform care decisions
- Provide evidence-based treatment recommendations within scope of practice
- Document patient interactions accurately and promptly
- Educate clients on disease prevention and management strategies
- Collaborate with in-person veterinary teams when necessary
- Maintain compliance with state licensing and telemedicine regulations
- Respond to urgent medical inquiries with appropriate triage
- Support continuity of care across treatment plans
- Use telehealth technology efficiently and securely
