Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot benefits-related issues and escalate when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations
- Ensure data accuracy in benefits administration software
- Coordinate with insurance carriers and third-party administrators
- Prepare reports on benefits utilization and employee participation
- Support compliance audits and documentation requests
- Educate employees on plan options during onboarding and enrollment
- Process life events such as marriage, birth, or job changes
- Follow established protocols for handling confidential information
- Collaborate with HR teams to align benefits with company policies
- Track and log all client interactions in the case management system
- Meet service level agreements for response and resolution times
- Stay current with changes in health care laws and employer mandates
- Assist in developing client-facing benefits materials and FAQs
- Participate in training sessions on new benefits platforms
- Ensure consistent customer service across all communication channels
