Responsibilities
- Respond to client questions about health, dental, and vision benefits
- Guide employees through benefits enrollment processes
- Verify eligibility and coverage details with insurance carriers
- Maintain up-to-date records in benefits administration systems
- Assist with resolving billing and claims issues
- Support annual open enrollment activities
- Provide accurate information on plan terms and limitations
- Ensure compliance with federal and state benefits regulations
- Communicate changes in benefits offerings to employees
- Coordinate with HR teams to update employee data
- Process life event changes such as marriage or birth
- Track and report on benefits utilization metrics
- Prepare materials for new hire orientation sessions
- Escalate complex cases to senior benefits advisors
- Maintain confidentiality of personal health information
- Use phone and email to support remote workforce needs
- Follow standard operating procedures for documentation
- Stay current on plan updates and policy changes
- Assist with COBRA administration tasks
- Conduct audits of benefits records for accuracy
- Support wellness program participation tracking
- Troubleshoot access issues with benefits portals
