Disaster Care Capital is hiring a Video Editor to create compelling video content that aligns with client branding and marketing strategies. Your work will directly support brand awareness, lead generation, and audience engagement through visual storytelling across digital channels.
What You'll Do
- Edit and produce video content for social media and digital campaigns
- Add subtitles, transitions, sound design, and motion elements to enhance accessibility and viewer retention
- Optimize videos for different platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and other social channels
- Collaborate closely with content, design, and marketing teams to ensure messaging and campaign alignment
- Organize and maintain video libraries using clear naming conventions and shared storage systems
- Contribute creative ideas, visual concepts, and storytelling approaches to improve campaign impact
- Ensure final outputs meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and technical specifications
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years professional video editing experience
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Working knowledge of Final Cut and Canva
- Basic design skills using Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- Experience with AI-assisted tools such as Runway, Caption.ai, and ChatGPT for creative support
- Ability to format and export videos according to platform-specific requirements
- Professional proficiency in English
Nice to Have
- 3–5 years professional video editing experience
- Certifications in video editing or motion graphics are an advantage

Team & Environment
You will collaborate daily with marketing peers and have regular communication with your line manager for feedback and approvals. There will be occasional collaboration with cross-department teams, other managers, and external contractors, and rare interaction with executives for final sign-off.
