Responsibilities
- Direct the development and execution of government affairs strategies in the United States and global regions including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific.
- Establish and sustain high-level relationships with government officials, education decision-makers, and regulatory agencies worldwide.
- Influence policy landscapes in educational technology, certification systems, accreditation standards, and workforce development frameworks.
- Monitor and proactively address legislative and regulatory changes affecting organizational operations and market access.
- Enhance success rates in large-scale, multi-stakeholder procurement processes and key enterprise engagements.
- Develop favorable funding mechanisms and policy frameworks to support customer acquisition and market expansion.
- Provide senior-level advocacy and political cover for critical business initiatives.
- Shorten timelines from contract award to execution and implementation in major deals.
- Collaborate with business divisions serving K-12, higher education, international markets, and credentialing platforms to strengthen strategic outcomes.
- Manage and grow a global team within the Strategic Growth unit to meet evolving business demands.
- Play a central role in sales pipeline and forecasting discussions, offering insights on influence, risk reduction, and deal acceleration.
- Work across departments including Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Product to ensure cohesive strategy and execution.
- Produce strategic resources and thought leadership materials to improve frontline team performance.
- Discover and activate new international markets and revenue opportunities.
- Strengthen the organization’s reputation as a purpose-driven, trusted leader in education innovation.
- Oversee global strategy efforts, including programs funded by grants, partnerships with diplomatic missions, and cross-border collaborations.
