Responsibilities
- Shape and oversee the business development approach to expand the sales pipeline across global discovery sites.
- Support regional marketing direction and align execution methods with strategic goals.
- Serve as the unified customer interface for all global discovery entities.
- Create and execute a regional strategy for key and strategic accounts.
- Lead and manage the regional sales and business development team.
- Align customer and sales strategies across regions with marketing plans to meet revenue goals.
- Partner with sales leaders in Europe and Asia-Pacific to build global account strategies.
- Design customer segmentation models and ensure coordination across regions.
- Establish customer experience improvement processes and supervise implementation teams.
- Identify training needs within the sales team and ensure they are integrated into learning programs.
- Set key performance indicators, track progress, and refine strategies to achieve objectives.
- Develop territory-specific business plans in line with sales targets and operational needs.
- Ensure consistent strategies and actions to meet quarterly net sales goals per region.
- Collaborate with management to design a variable compensation plan for Europe within company guidelines.
- Provide regional insights to shape overall discovery strategy, including market trends, competition, product gaps, and customer demands.
- Analyze regional competition and develop effective counter-strategies.
- Manage sales channel approaches using insights from market dynamics and customer requirements.
- Coordinate the execution of regional strategies and action plans.
- Work with site leaders, managing directors, and presidents to advocate for customer-driven innovation and validate new offerings.
- Grow integrated drug discovery sales in Europe and assigned regions.
- Ensure consistent rollout of integrated drug discovery services across regions.
- Build and manage the pipeline and client relationships for integrated discovery and partnership programs to meet annual revenue goals.
- Design and manage cross-company processes for partnership programs to ensure effective collaboration among legal entities.
- Support the annual budget process with detailed sales forecasting based on market changes, customer behavior, and input from regional leaders.
- Formulate annual and long-term strategic plans and budgets, track performance, ensure compliance, and assess outcomes.

Team
Manages the regional business development / sales organization. Works with sales leaders in EU and AP. Collaborates with Site leaders, MDs, and Presidents of Eurofins Discovery legal entities.
