Responsibilities
- Lead the organization's accounting team and drive operational excellence
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards
- Manage the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial close processes
- Guide the implementation and optimization of accounting systems
- Support strategic planning and financial forecasting initiatives
- Monitor accounting policies and recommend improvements
- Ensure proper revenue recognition in line with accounting standards
- Supervise payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
- Manage tax compliance and reporting obligations
- Lead special projects related to financial infrastructure
- Assist in investor communications and financial disclosures
- Evaluate accounting implications of new business initiatives
- Drive process automation and efficiency improvements
- Maintain documentation for financial processes and controls
- Ensure readiness for future public reporting requirements
- Mentor and develop accounting team members
