Responsibilities
- Medical and surgical nursing
- Anaesthetic monitoring and patient recovery
- Consult nursing and client education
- Emergency and critical care nursing
- Diagnostic testing and pathology
- Caring for hospitalised patients
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
- Reception duties including answering phones, booking appointments, admitting and discharging patients, and managing client enquiries
- Delivering exceptional customer service and patient care
Requirements
- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- Has 2+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience
- Demonstrates excellent animal handling skills
- Has strong knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures and patient care
- Is calm, friendly, and compassionate
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Is flexible, adaptable, and eager to continue developing their skills

Additional Information
- Part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week
- Opportunity to work additional hours in the future as the clinic grows or during periods when the team requires additional support
