Veredus - DC is hiring a VB.NET Developer

Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead a small team of 3-5 individuals
  • Construct conceptual and technical designs that include the use of Object-Oriented (OO) techniques
  • Write Microsoft .NET VB code based on requirements defined
  • Develop Object-Oriented (OO) code and/or provide maintenance and enhancements to existing code based upon a solid understanding of OO design
  • Work with business users to refine requirements and technical specifications
  • Conduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration and support performance
  • Support estimation and planning of iterative / agile releases
  • Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately
  • Effectively model organization business processes and integrate them with existing Enterprise systems and capabilities
  • Mentor junior team members and train client technical staff, if needed
