Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the feature team and stakeholders to create concepts and prototypes, finding optimal solutions and approaches.
- Request UX research for your interfaces or conduct it yourself; participate in selecting research participants.
- Communicate research findings to the feature team and stakeholders; translate insights into concrete design improvements.
- Participate in cross-reviews of colleagues' work.
- Create final mockups, motion design, and feature documentation for development handoff.
- Work with development teams to consult on implementation and ensure delivery aligns with design intent.
- Own design QA during implementation, reviewing shipped features for accuracy and raising issues as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented features; provide recommendations for improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.
- Advocate for users and user-oriented design direction across the product.
Requirements
- 5+ years of documented UX/UI design experience on large-scale applications and/or game UI, supported by a portfolio.
- Demonstrable visual design craft across complex UI, with up-to-date awareness of design system and component-based design practices.
- Solid understanding of design principles and the psychology of user perception.
- Experience conducting UX research — user interviews, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Ability to translate research insights into actionable design solutions.
- Familiarity with user journey analysis tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of the product/project lifecycle from discovery through delivery.
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach; comfortable presenting design rationale to stakeholders at all levels and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects independently.
- Strong English skills: writing, speaking, and presenting.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Strong self-organization and time management; able to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and prototyping.
- Systems thinker with strong pattern recognition and an ability to spot structural problems early.
