Kabam is looking for a User Research Co-op to join our team and contribute to understanding player behavior and preferences. This position offers a practical learning experience within a leading game development studio.
What You'll Do
- Assist in planning and executing user research studies for our games.
- Help recruit and schedule participants for research sessions.
- Support the collection and organization of qualitative and quantitative user data.
- Contribute to the analysis of research findings to inform design and development decisions.
- Help prepare summaries and presentations of research insights for the development team.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a co-op program at a Canadian university, pursuing a degree in HCI, Psychology, Design, Game Development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in user research, human-computer interaction, or player experience.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to observe patterns and draw insights from user feedback.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with basic user research methodologies (e.g., usability testing, surveys, interviews).
- Experience with game design or development, even at a hobbyist or academic level.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools or qualitative coding practices.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote co-op position open to students located in Canada.
